2021 Sunflower Ragtime orchestra - Back in Business!

The SRO returns for Summer 2021! Join us to play popular Old-Time orchestral music with other adult amateur musicians this June and July!

 

Rehearse and perform authentic period orchestrations of favorite, still-familiar tunes like Steamboat Rag, Railroad Blues, Barnum and Bailey's Favorite, and The Thunderer with the Sunflower Ragtime Orchestra.

  • Openings for clarinet, percussion, and all strings.

  • There are two sessions with three rehearsals and one concert each session. All rehearsals and concerts are on Thursday evenings, 7:00-9:00 pm.

    • Session 1: Rehearsals June 3, 10, and 17, 7:00-9:00 pm Performance June 24, 7:00 pm -- "Planes, Trains, and Steamboats"

    • Session 2: Rehearsals July 1, 8, and 15, 7:00-9:00 pm Performance July 22, 7:00 pm -- "Under the Big Top"
